Does AdVibing see my code? A complete privacy breakdown

June 15, 2026 · By AdVibing

The short answer

No. AdVibing is content-free. The sponsored line that appears while your agent works is independent of what you're working on — it isn't derived from your code, prompts, or files, and none of those are read, analyzed, or transmitted.

What never leaves your machine

  • File contents
  • Your prompts and the model's responses
  • File paths and directory names
  • Repository names
  • Anything you type into your agent

What is actually sent

Just enough to count an ad and pay you for it:

  • An install id (random, per device)
  • An anonymous session id
  • Which ad was shown
  • Impression and click totals
  • The app version

No profile, no content, no tracking across the web.

Work-gated and verified

An impression only counts when your agent is demonstrably doing work — not while you're idle or reading. Each event carries a signed, single-use token, so the meter can't be replayed or inflated. That protects advertisers from fraud and keeps your earnings legitimate.

You are always in control

AdVibing is opt-in. You set the intensity, and you can turn it off completely at any time — reversible with one command, and it leaves no trace in your workflow.
